Modernisation of Existing Weighbridge
The Problem. Weighbridge in need of Modernisation. CCTV on site to monitor movement but no recognition of cargo carried or type of vehicle as and when it leaves site. This creates problems with matching a ticket number to the weight of grain and which vehicle it belongs to. Replacing the system would be a huge cost.
The Options. Replace the whole thing at a huge cost or keep the existing machinery update the connectivity to it. By adding vehicle ID recognition and sensing and control products these deliveries can be brought together to show a real time entry and exit.
The Solution. Upgrade the Wi-FI connections add sensors and a monitoring system at a fraction of the cost of replacement. A unique software programme was developed to create an electronic record which details the weight of a vehicle and the time the weight was measured. Remote monitors were fitted to enable live streaming to a touch screen computer. Records are now automatically emailed to the sales office, with no need for a member of staff to be present.
Estate Irrigation System
The Problem provide a solution to solve the issues with the estate-wide irrigation systems.manually manage and control each pump house and reels.
There are multiple pump houses all serving the one ring main which multiple reels are then connected to. Because of this supply and demand which can change there is an imbalance in the system. With the current system the pumps will continue to pump and in some installations the speed of the pumps are increased thus flooding the field faster. This leads to crop damage/loss and damaged soil. The loss of the crop and the management of the crop are all lost until the process of planting re-starts the following year.
The Options continue to manually set pumps and irrigation physically driving to and from the pump house or connect and use technology based apps and devices to remotely monitor and control the pumps and water pressure.
The Solution keep all cuurent hardware in place by adding an extra layer of control and software we can not only link all the pump houses but also create a mobile Application and/or Web front end. This way the whole system can be monitored and controlled from any location with secure access. This could be a mobile app or a Web page based front end. Both of these will have a login screen and a secure connection.
